We've tried to make creating tickets as painless as possible so that anyone who can surf the web can understand what's going on. Most of the time you'll want to have new ticket forms appear in a small pop-up window which will just tell them thanks after submitting it.
If you've got a dynamic webapp and you've customized the links to your tracker you can even pass in the username of the person submitting the ticket so that every time they submit a ticket from your site you'll know exactly who it came from without them having to create an account. But you'll probably want to use the full interface when you're working on your own trackers. The form is the same it's just that you have access to a variety of other options at all times.
Then you'll, of course, want to take a look at what was created. |
